Privacy Policy
Last updated: 27 April 2026. This policy explains what data we collect when you use bestcreditcard.ae, why we collect it, and the choices you have. It is written in plain English on purpose.
The short version
We do not sell your personal data. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate, and a small set of cookies to keep the site functional. If you choose to apply for a credit card, your details are sent to the issuing bank and handled under that bank's privacy terms — not ours.
Who we are
bestcreditcard.ae ("we", "us", "our") is operated from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. For privacy questions, write to privacy@bestcreditcard.ae.
Information we collect
We collect three categories of data:
- Browsing data: pages you visit, time on each page, referrer, approximate location (city level), device type, and browser. Collected automatically through Google Analytics 4 and Vercel server logs.
- Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, salary band, and message content if you complete a contact form, lead form, or apply for a card through our partner links.
- Cookies: small text files that remember your filter choices and help us measure site performance. See the cookies section below.
How we use the information
- To improve the site, fix bugs, and decide which content to write next.
- To respond to enquiries you send through the contact form.
- To pass on credit card application details to the issuing bank when you click Apply Now.
- To occasionally send you an email about a new feature or article, but only if you opt in.
- To prevent fraud and abuse of the platform.
Who we share data with
We share your information with three categories of third party:
- Issuing banks when you choose to apply for one of their products through our site. Each bank's privacy notice will then apply.
- Service providers who help us run the site: Vercel (hosting), Cloudflare (DNS and security), Google (analytics and search). They process data on our instructions only.
- Authorities if required by UAE law or a valid legal request.
We never sell your data to advertisers, lead aggregators, or anyone else.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the filters you set during your session. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) help us understand visitor behaviour at an aggregate level — they don't identify you personally. You can clear cookies any time through your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Your rights
UAE residents and visitors from the GCC have the right to ask us what personal data we hold about them, to correct it if it's wrong, to ask us to delete it, and to object to certain types of processing. Email privacy@bestcreditcard.ae with your request and we'll respond within thirty days.
Data retention
Contact form messages are kept for 24 months unless you ask us to delete them sooner. Analytics data is kept for 14 months by default. Application referral data is forwarded to the bank and not stored on our servers.
Children
This site is not aimed at people under the age of 21, and we don't knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has shared information with us, please email privacy@bestcreditcard.ae and we will delete it.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. Significant changes will be flagged on the home page for at least seven days. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
